1. White latex
The white latex adhesive commonly used in woodworking is a milky white thick liquid formed by emulsion polymerization of acetic acid and ethylene to synthesize vinyl acetate. The bonding layer constructed with high-quality white latex products has good toughness and durability, and is not easy to age. It is mainly suitable for bonding wooden keel underframes, wooden bottom plates and finished wooden panels.
Since white latex is a petroleum derivative, its cost will fluctuate with oil prices. In order to reduce costs, some unscrupulous businesses often add starch or other substances to the genuine products to forge white latex adhesive products. 2. Universal glue
Universal glue, also known as 309 glue, is also an adhesive often seen in woodworking construction, mainly used to bond finished wooden surface laminates. Its bonding strength is high, the life is long, and it is not easy to open. But it should be noted that the solvent of universal glue is usually nitro diluent, which contains a lot of toxic substances, so try not to use it if you don't need it.
3. Floor glue
When laying the floor, the floor can be directly bonded to the cement floor by the direct adhesive laying method. At this time, the glue used is called floor glue. Floor glue is very convenient and quick to use, short setting time, high bonding strength and long life.
